Most tools handle files up to a few hundred megabytes without trouble. Very large scans or multi-thousand-file batches are better handled as a production job — talk to us if that is what you are facing.

No. Remove Password takes encryption off a file you already have the password for. It is not a cracking tool and cannot open a document you are locked out of. That is a property of PDF encryption itself, not a limitation we chose.
A watermark is decoration — it marks a document as a draft or as confidential, but the content underneath is fully readable and copyable. Redaction actually removes the underlying text. If you are hiding personal data, use redaction. Drawing a black box in an image editor and calling it redaction is how organisations end up in the news.
